In an article posted to Movieweb.com on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, it was reported that a rumor states that Howard the Duck is getting an animated series on Disney+… and the rumor goes on to say that this new show will be revealed on Disney+ Day, November 12th, 2021, (the same day that we have been promised some “special announcements,” and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will arrive for streaming).
We’re already thankful for November. Next month, start streaming #Hawkeye, #ShangChi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, #JungleCruise, #OlafPresents, and so much more—plus, get ready to celebrate #DisneyPlusDay! pic.twitter.com/PQMzKxYwNG

Howard the Duck
Back in February 2019, it was reported that Marvel Television, which has subsequently been folded into Marvel Studios, was releasing multiple animated shows that would appear on Hulu. These included Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., the first season of which arrived earlier this year.
Another one of the shows, Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, will be arriving in November on Hulu.
But three more shows were announced: Tigra & Dazzler (still don’t get this pairing), The Offenders (a crossover that would bring characters from the shows together), and an animated version of Howard the Duck.
It seems like all three of these shows have been cancelled… but does that mean that the way has been cleared for a Howard the Duck series from Disney’s Marvel Studios Animation? The character did appear in multiple episodes of What If…?, after all.
Furthermore, while Seth Green, who has voiced the character since he first appeared in the MCU back in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 1, has stated that he does not know if the character will appear in that movie, he hasn’t denied that a show could be on the horizon. And we know from the climactic battle in Avengers: Endgame that Howard did indeed arrive on Earth!

Could any show besides Howard the Duck be a perfect pairing for She-Hulk? We don’t think so, Marvel Blog True Believers!
