StoryToys Reveals New LEGO DUPLO MARVEL App!
In an article posted on StoryToys’ website on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, it was revealed that StoryToys, a subsidiary that is wholly-owned by Team17 Group plc, would be partnering with both Marvel Entertainment and the LEGO Group in order to bring in the excitement and adventure of both the Marvel and the LEGO DUPLO brands to a brand new mobile app!
The LEGO DUPLO MARVEL App
In the LEGO DUPLO MARVEL App, which will be geared towards preschoolers, players will be able to take charge of characters like Spidey, Captain America, and Ghost-Spider in order to take part in imaginative play and brand-new learning adventures.
In this app, young players will get the chance to help Spidey shoot his webs, and help Captain America rescue a kitten!
The app draws on the Headstart Early Learning Outcomes Framework in order to give players age two to five the best possible play and learning experience.
The CEO of StoryToys, Emmet O’Neill, emphasized how excited he was about the project in the press release: “As a lifetime fan of both Marvel and LEGO bricks, this project is one that’s very close to my heart,” stated O’Neill. We bet more than a few Marvel Blog True Believers will agree with that sentiment!
And the SVP of Business Development and New Initiative at StoryToys, Daniel Fink, remarked that they were hopeful that the app could help bring together multiple generations: “Not only will it delight today’s young Marvel fans, it also provides an all-ages experience for parents to introduce their own favorite Marvel super heroes to their children,” said Fink.
Available for Pre-Order Now
The app will be available to download from the App Store and Google Play in December 2021, but you can pre-order now. There is an annual subscription fee of $9.99 associated with LEGO DUPLO MARVEL.
