Spirits of Vengeance: Spirit Rider #1
In Spirits of Vengeance: Spirit Rider #1 by Taboo, B. Earl, Jeffery Veregge, Stacie Zucker, Paul Davison, Dan Brown, and Joe Caramagna, with a main cover by Takashi Okazaki and Rico Renzi, we got to see Kushala come face-to-face with Johnny Blaze!
Kushala is an Apache warrior who was the sole survivor of the mid-1800s slaughter of her tribe by U.S. soldiers thanks to a spirit of vengeance who heard her cry of rage. While she at first attempted to rid herself of what she believed to be a demonic possession, she eventually learned to lay claim to her immense power.
While you may already be suitably intrigued, this character just gets more interested, because she goes on to become the Sorcerer Supreme of her era! However, after Stephen Strange summoned a trans-dimensional team of Sorcerers Supreme, she found herself stranded in our modern era.
In this issue, the two Ghost Riders meet one another, and it’s recently arrived on Marvel Unlimited, just in time for you to read it before you delve into the Ghost Rider: Kushala series!
