Tom Holland Teases a Mystery Villain For ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’
Before the Marvel multiverse assembles for the events of Avengers: Doomsday, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is getting ready to swing back into action in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The fourth installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Day will follow Peter Parker as he sets out on his own after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home erased the world’s memory of him.

Joining Holland on his next Spider-Man adventure will be Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/The Hulk.
Who Is the ‘Brand New Day’ Villain
In the lead-up to the release of Brand New Day, speculation has run rampant about who the film’s primary antagonist will be.

While we know that Scorpion, The Hand, and Boomerang will appear in the film, those characters feel more like secondary villains.
Instead, the prevailing theory has been that Sadie Sink’s mystery character (perhaps Jean Grey) will serve as Spider-Man’s ultimate nemesis in the film.

That, however, appears to be incorrect.
Tom Holland Weighs In
During a recent appearance at a Spider-Man: Brand New Day fan event in Berlin, Tom Holland revealed that the film’s primary antagonist has yet to be revealed.

“It’s still very much a secret. I think it’s unlike anything we’ve seen in one of these movies before.”
While Holland did not give any hints as to what fans can expect, it sounds like Brand New Day‘s villain will come out of left field.
