Return of a Variant: MISS MINUTES Gets Timeless

In an article posted to the official Marvel Comics website on Thursday, November 4th, 2021, it was revealed that the upcoming Timeless #1 would feature a variant cover by all-star artist Humberto Ramos featuring none other than the duplicitous mascot of the Time Variance Authority, Miss Minutes!

Time’s Up for Miss Minutes

We all knew that we’d be seeing more of Miss Minutes: the character, who is voiced by Tara Strong, made her debut in the very first episode of Loki on Disney+.

However, even the most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers may be forgiven for assuming that the return of Miss Minutes would have to wait for the as-of-yet unscheduled second season of Loki, rather than the debut of Timeless in December 2021.

But it should be noted that this is not the first time characters from Loki on Disney+ have shown up on a variant cover for an issue of a Marvel comic! The Time-Keepers, the trio of puppets who were presented as the leaders of the TVA during Loki’s first season, made an appearance on a variant cover of Kang the Conqueror #1, a currently ongoing series that will tie-in to the Timeless comic event.

Does the presence of Miss Minutes on the variant for Timeless #1 mean the titular timepiece herself will appear in the story? Not necessarily! The aforementioned Time-Keepers did not show up in Kang the Conqueror #1, after all.

But it’s not outside the realm of possibility, either! Tick-tock, Marvel Blog True Believers!
