No Way Home = Spider-Man’s ENDGAME

In an article posted to Gizmodo on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2021, it was reported that Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts compared the highly-anticipated threequel to another big-screen bonanza: Avengers: Endgame (you may have heard of it, Marvel Blog True Believers)!

According to the article, the quote comes from the recent issue of Empire Magazine, which featured No Way Home on its cover (a cover that will look familiar to those who watched the No Way Home trailer).

The issue included images of the battle between Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina, who really wants to tell you all about his role) and Peter Parker (Tom Holland — what, not who you were expecting?).

In essence, Watts has confirmed that we’ll be getting a big, multiversal blow-out in No Way Home, with the Sinister Six all but confirmed and the presence of additional Spider-Heroes essentially guaranteed.

While the Gizmodo article states that No Way Home is only going big because “Marvel wants the multiverse to matter,” well… isn’t that a good enough reason? We all saw what happened with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Multiverses matter – that’s where we got Olivia Octavius from! I say bring on the Spider-Man: Endgame, Marvel Blog True Believers!

Avengers: No Way Home

Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to arrive exclusively in theaters on December 17th, 2021. Will you be swinging out to see it when it arrives this holiday season?
