Do these variants hint at what might be in store for readers when the highly anticipated Timeless #1 arrives at your local comic shop in late December 2021? Let’s get to speculating, Marvel Blog True Believers!
Incoming Variants
Let’s take a look at these exciting variants one-by-one, shall we, Marvel Blog True Believers?
First up is a cover featuring She-Hulk by Natacha Bustos (with one of those cool, newfangled digital watches behind her). The artist on the original run of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, Bustos is already one of Marvel Comics most legendary artists… so you can imagine how awesome this cover is!
Next is a cover featuring Namor, posing as if he is in a fancy-smancy watch advert, as depicted by Juann Cabal. I suspect this cover will be in very high demand!
Now you must lay your eyes on this variant by Carmen Carnero featuring Rogue of the X-Men… surrounded on all sides by shadows of what we can assume are Rogue variants! The shadows around her call to mind the face of a clock. Starting to sense some themes, Marvel Blog True Believers?
Now look at this variant featuring Thor, with Mjolnir held aloft and channeling a lightning strike, with the God of Thunder perched on a sundial. This Marvelous Asgardian cover is by Joshua Cassara!
Want more Hulk in your Timeless? Then check out this variant by Iban Coello featuring Bruce Banner (and his Gamma Radiation-created counterpart) through the ages!
I’m not sure just what’s happening in this variant cover by Patrick Gleason, but it sort of looks like Spider-Man 2099 leaping through the face of a clock. I don’t need to fully understand to know this is awesome!
Next, a cover by variant extraordinaire Peach Momoko features… holy crap, is this Mariko from Demon Days? Is she in Timeless? Stop the presses and the clocks, Marvel Blog True Believers!
And finally, R.B. Silva delivers a cover that features none of than Captain America himself, Sam Wilson! Perhaps even better yet is the inclusion of Redwing from the comics (in case you forgot, in the comics, Redwing is a vampire hawk, not a drone).
