New Hawkeye Posters Promise Dog Fur-Covered Fun
In a Tweet sent on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, the official Hawkeye Twitter account released three new character posters for the highly anticipated Disney+ streaming series, the first two episodes of which will arrive in less than one week, on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021. Best yet, these posters include the unqualified star of the show, Pizza Dog!

Two Hawkeyes & a Pizza Dog
Three character posters were released with this batch, featuring the two characters who you knew were going to be headlining (check the title), plus one you may not be familiar with if you haven’t read the 2015 Hawkeye series by David Aja, Matt Fraction, Matt Hollingsworth, et al.

First up is Hawkeye (Classic Edition), portrayed by Jeremy Renner, a role he originated waaaay back in Phase One. Did you remember that Hawkeye was introduced in Thor, Marvel Blog True Believers?

Next up is Hawkeye (Best One Edition), portrayed by Hailee Steinfeld, who will make her live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Kate Bishop next week! If you need more proof that Bishop is the best Hawkeye, go ahead and boot up Disney+ and watch the fifteen minute MCU on Disney+ special. There’s a scene from Hawkeye that I assure you will bring you over to the winning (Bishop) side!

And finally, a third poster features everyone’s new favorite character, Pizza Dog, as portrayed by Jolt the Golden Retriever. While it looks like Pizza Dog may be missing an eye in the show, this is actually some visual effects wizardry.
