Countdown: Hawkeye Stars in Non-Marvel Projects
Well, Marvel Blog True Believers, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that in a mere matter of days – on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 – the first two episodes of Hawkeye will be made available for streaming on Disney+.
But do you need an entertainment option to tide you over in the meantime? Don’t worry: Marvel Blog has you covered!
Hawkeye Stars: Steinfeld on Dickinson
First of all, you’re probably wondering what the World’s Greatest Archer does when she isn’t hanging out in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Hailee Steinfeld, who plays new Hawkeye Kate Bishop, stars in the first two seasons of Dickinson, the second season of which is currently being released on Apple TV+.
Had fun with @HaileeSteinfeld on #dickinson and I deeply regret having spoiled her for all future suitors . Raising woman’s expectations to a level other men can not possibly fulfill has been my lifelong curse. @StarTrek #thedoctor #selfdelusion pic.twitter.com/HNzczebzwH

Hawkeye Stars: Renner in Mayor of Kingstown
But never fear: it isn’t just Steinfeld who is appearing on-screen in a non-MCU new release! You can see Jeremy Renner right now in Mayor of Kingstown, a series that’s available for streaming on Paramount+ (and don’t forget to check out the Star Trek: Discovery season premiere while you’re there, Marvel Blog True Believers – remember, thanks to Planet X, the Trek universe is close to the Marvel Multiverse than you might think).
In addition to appearing in Mayor of Kingstown, Renner also recently released an EP, “Live for Now,” which is currently available on many music platforms, from Spotify to iTunes.
My new EP “Live For Now” is out NOW! I hope you love this collection of songs as much as I do. #LiveForNow https://t.co/GCaBSNrZRH pic.twitter.com/7EsifzejkH

Hawkeye Stars: Pugh??
And now, a top secret report: as you may remember from the mid-credits scene of Black Widow, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) seems more than likely to show up in the first season of Hawkeye, too! Belova has her sights sent on Clint Barton thanks to a tip Val* (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) gave her as she mourned the death of the other Widow.
So although she hasn’t appeared in the marketing, we bet that Belova will be in Hawkeye. In the meantime, you can see her in Father of the Bride Part 3 (Ish), a 25-minute short film that was released on YouTube in 2020.
Hawkeye Stars in Hawkeye
But fortunately, we’ll only have to wait a few more days to see the stars of Hawkeye in Hawkeye on Disney+. Are you as excited as we are, Marvel Blog True Believers? Have you watched the clip included in the Marvel Studios Disney+ Day Special yet? Let us know in the comment section!
