Has Google Confirmed Tom Hardy for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’?
One of the most anticipated and theorized Marvel films thus far have had a stranglehold on the internet and MCU fans for months; the latest development has people asking, has Google confirmed Tom Hardy for Spider-Man: No Way Home?
The next installment of Peter Parkers MCU saga has clearly become one of Marvel’s most anticipated films to date, with its advance ticket sales nearly breaking the Internet, the fanbase is clamoring to get a resolution to the first of Marvel Spider-Man trilogies.
One aspect of the film that has overwhelmed news outlets seemingly since its announcement is just who could appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
With the various trailers confirming everyone from Doctor Strange’s co-leading role, to past villains of various Spider-Man films such as Doc Oc, Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, and Lizard; fans are still very curious about how is being hidden from the promotional campaign.
With past Spider-Man actors very likely to be present through leaks, we ask a very important question regarded recent developments; has Google confirmed Tom Hardy for Spider-Man: No Way Home?
Many MCU fans have their eyebrows raised at a certain detail that has emerged in the official online descriptions of the film; one very specific change came via Google.
If you searched Spider-Man: No Way Home into the popular search engine, you’d get the option to look over the cast of the film; which sports a very unique addition as of recent updates.
Google may have confirmed Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock’s appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, if it’s noting of the cast, is correct.
Obviously, this should be taken with a grain of salt, as we are currently unsure as to how Google confirms how will be in films still unreleased, and with Marvel turning over every stone in an effort to keep the secrets of Spider-Man: No Way Home preserved.
But this may lend itself to a greater question; does it make sense for Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home?
The answer is, well, kind of?
For a film set to be so jam-packed with Spider-Man characters, it seems as though his featured involvement would come as a hindrance to his own character, and others appearing in the film.
With Sony focusing so heavily on the character as a cornerstone of their own Spider-Verse of films, it seems unlikely they take that risk.
But the chances are that Tom Hardy will make an appearance in some kind of post-credit scene for the film; after all, this is the second time that we’re hearing the possibility of Hardy’s involvement in the film.
With Marvel taking over the next three Tom Hardy films, and Sony already in the midst of developing a rogues gallery of fleshed-out villains for Hollands Spider-Man, it is completely in the realm of possibility that Marvel will facilitate a cross over of sorts that allow the Sony Spider-Man villains into the MCU
