Marvel Fans Celebrate The Official Return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil
Officially announced by Kevin Feige, the MCU has just seen the return of one of the studio’s greatest film adaptations; and the fanbase is ecstatic, as Marvel fans celebrate the official return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil.
The 2015 series lasted for three seasons and explored one of the most interesting Marvel comics characters ever created.
Based on the character yet again created by the iconic Stan Lee- with artist Bill Everett- the series gave fans one of the most grounded superhero projects ever developed; with the faithfulness of Matt Murdoch’s origin story, to the wildness of The Hand and his unfortunate run-ins with the Kingpin.
The Marvel and Netflix collaborated series was a clear success, and a massive part of that success was the performance of Charlie Cox in the title role.
Cox was tremendous as Matt Murdoch.
With the obvious difficulties of playing a character who is blind, Daredevil himself becomes an incredible challenge for any actor to truly embrace.
Murdoch cant see, but he can observe the world with his other senses; which gives him perhaps a better understanding of what’s going on around him than if he did have sight.
This news came as a pleasant surprise as Marvel fans celebrate the official return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil all over Twitter and other special media sites.
There was really no way they weren't getting Charlie Cox back tbh. The impact of the Daredevil show as whole was massive and it's still one of the best pieces of comic book media to exist. They were NOT letting that go. pic.twitter.com/BJz6ruCdAr

It speaks to both the adoration that fans have for the series and how correct it was for Marvel and Kevin Feige to bring Cox back in the role.
The confirmation by Kevin Feige of Charlie Cox returning feels so good. That realisation hits different. You deserve this so much Charlie. I’m so happy right now

Even Cox’s co-star Vincent D’Onofrio took to Twitter to speak on how well deserved the role reprisal is, and just how excited he was to see him continue playing the character.
So happy for Charlie Cox he really deserves this.
He's a great actor and a wonderful guy. He put so much into playing DareDevil in such a unique way. Love this news. #NoFearNoGreedNoEnvy https://t.co/rPxyAKH47a— Vincent D'Onofrio (@vincentdonofrio) December 6, 2021
Like Feige noted in the interview on the confirmation; it is entirely unknown when, or in what context, Matt Murdoch will appear in the MCU as Daredevil.
But, we may have a few theories.
