New Teaser for Marvel’s Animated Series ‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’
While the MCU continues to pump out a plethora of blockbuster hits, Marvel studios also has a new animated television series down the pipeline.
Last week they dropped a brand new teaser for Marvel’s animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, introduced by the legendary actor and series producer Laurence Fishburne, giving a stylish look at the wonderfully crafted show.
The teaser literally grabs hold of your eyes with the quirky vibrant neon colors, and even the short 20 second clip gives an energetic vibe to our two co-protagonists Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
While comic aficionados may be more familiar with these two unconventional heroes, many of us may not recognize or know where these two originate from.
Who is The Devil Dinosaur?
Devil Dinosaur first debuted in 1978 with Devil Dinosaur #1 created by the well known comic author Jack Kirby. The big red behemoth originates from the Earth 78411, also known as the Dinosaur World. Devil Dinosaur would first team up and form deep bonds with Moon Boy, tagging along for many adventures on both dinosaur world and afar.
Devil Dinosaur is gifted with a much higher intelligence compared to his other Dinosaur compatriots, and the big mutated T-Rex can both endure and give out a quite the punishment. After the loss of Moon Boy, Devil Dinosaur finds Moon Girl and the two become fast friends.
Who is Moon Girl?
The miraculously intelligent Lunella lafayette is a 9-year old prodigy whose imagination knows no boundaries. Additionally, she is an Inhuman with the ability to transfer her conscious into another creature.
Lunella garners the nickname Moon Girl, from her fellow classmates for all the incredible gadgets she creates. One of these gadgets opens a portal from her home earth 616 to earth 78411, resulting in a meeting of our dazzling duo.
The Marvelous Duo Heads to Disney Channel
These two interesting Marvel characters will look to make a splash into Disney Channel during the summer of 2022. The cast for the new show has already been announced, with the biggest voice being lent by the Series executive producer and legendary actor Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, John Wick Chapter 2, Apocalypse Now).
The show will be headed by director Christine Liu, and with having worked on previously acclaimed shows such as Steven Universe, there is a great deal of interest in what direction the show will take.
One thing that we can know for sure is that the series is dazzling in both animation and color. Neon pinks, purples, and blues fill the screen with each segment of the teaser. Moon Girl’s outfit is adorned with yellow and blue, with bright neon pink goggles that draw you in.
Devil Dinosaur is colored with an extremely vivid red. In addition to animation, the series looks to be a great deal of fun for children and adults alike! We cannot wait for the premiere Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.
