All-Star Creators Headline Elektra: Black, White & Blood #4
The Marvel Comics March 2022 comic solicitations have arrived, and one issue in particular is blowing our minds here at Marvel Blog: Elektra: Black, White & Blood #4!
Elektra: Black, White & Blood #4
The most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers will already be familiar with the Black, White & Blood format, which gives Marvel Comics superheroes the chance to star in extremely violent and gory stories that are printed in only black, white, and red. Each issue in the Black, White & Blood series features three short comics stories by a different creator or creative team. Perhaps best of all, these titles are subsequently collected into oversized trade paperbacks, which really give you the opportunity to appreciate the incredible art.
So far, Deadpool, Carnage, and Wolverine have each received the Black, White & Blood treatment, and now, Elektra will be getting the treatment as well… and the March solicitations have revealed that Elektra: Black, White & Blood #4 will feature an exceptionally awesome set of creative teams!
First up will be Ann Nocenti writing a story about Elektra returning to Hell’s Kitchen and meeting up with none other than Typhoid Mary! Typhoid Mary is one of my very favorite Marvel Comics characters, and Nocenti is one of my favorite creators, so I’m exceptionally excited for this story.
Next up will be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman telling a story set in his own unique vision of Hell’s Kitchen! The TMNT comics were actually inspired by Daredevil, so you can imagine how awesome this story will be.
And finally, Peach Momoko will be telling a story about the Demon Days version of Elektra, who we will not have met before this issue.
Arriving March 2022
WOW! What a lineup of creators! What a variety of stories! This is what we’re looking for from the House of Ideas, Marvel Blog True Believers.
Are you going to begin following this series when the first issue arrives in January? Will you be picking up issue #4 when it arrives in March? We’re waiting to hear from you, Marvel Blog True Believers!
