4 Marvel Films Top Fandango’s Most Anticipated Movies of 2022
The Year 2021 was a spectacular endeavor for Marvel Studios. We saw the release of amazingly epic films such as Shang Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings and Marvel Studios Disney + releases also took the world by storm with shows such as Wandavision.
Fandango’s annual surveys, in which actual theatre-goers are surveyed, illuminated just how highly desired Marvel films will be in 2022, with 4 films finding a place in Fandango’s most anticipated movies of 2022.

2022 Continues the Hype
Things don’t look to be slowing down the slightest in 2022, with 4 highly anticipated Marvel films set to release. Fandango’s end of the year movie-goer survey of most anticipated movies of 2022 featured 4 Marvel films within the top 10.
The 4 films in the top 10 of Fandango’s survey include Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse (Part One), Thor: Love and Thunder, and Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Black Panther 2 is Fandango’s Most Anticipated Movie of 2022
Not Surprisingly, Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever was voted by Fandoango’s movie-goers as the most anticipated movie of 2022. Production for the film suffered a set back in November of 2021 after Shuri actress Letitia Wright suffered an injury, but the film is set to resume production in early 2022.
Black Panther 2 is also set to debut a number of new characters, including big name comic characters such as Ironheart Riri Williams and Namor. Of course the tragic passing of the beloved Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman leaves fans questioning what direction the film will take.

Another Marvelous Year
2021 was certainly a special year that ended in a Spider-tastic finale. 2022 looks to pick up where 2021 left off, with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness set to release in May following the events of No Way Home.
Viewing Fandango’s most anticipated movies of 2022, it appears the audiences are hyped to see the next stretch of Marvel films, and cannot wait to see a number of heroes return.
Whether it’s Thor’s hammer swinging 4th film, Miles Morales’ next endeavor swinging across the Spider-verse, or Dr. Strange teaming up with the Scarlet witch, 2022 looks to be another marvelously action packed year!
