The reason is simple, the selected winner will be tasked with the immense challenge of deciding which Spider-Man film reigns supreme, selecting what they view as the greatest Spider-Man film ever made.

The contest is made a little harder, however, as the individual selected won’t just have 20 years of Spider-Man film history to choose from: they will have to watch as far back as the original Spider-Man film from 1977!

You read that correct, 45 years of Spider-Man film history will be eligible, as the selected winner will start with 1977’s Spider-Man, followed by 1978’s Spider-Man Strikes Back, and 1981’s Spider-Man: The Dragons Challenge.

This will take the winner onto the Sam Raimi trilogy of the 2000s, followed by Andrew Garfield and Mark Webbs The Amazing Spider-Man films of 2012 and 2014, before rounding out the viewing list with the MCU Peter Parker trilogy, and Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
