Ethan Hawke Is All Kinds of Creepy in Marvel’s First ‘Moon Knight’ Trailer
A role that has been hidden for quite some time, we finally have our first footage of the highly anticipated antagonist in the MCU’s newest Disney+ series, and Ethan Hawke is all kinds of creepy in Marvel’s first Moon Knight trailer.
A character that has clearly been one of the Marvel Comics’ most interesting creations ever, Marc Spector’s Moon Knight has been a series shrouded in mystery and anticipation.
With the entire series being very selective in how it’s been shown to awaiting fans, there may be no Dsiney+ exclusive Marvel series that has debuted to as much unknown as Moon Knight is prepared to.
With veteran actor Oscar Isaac portraying the frantic and sleep-deprived cockney Steven Grant in the trailer, it seems as though the series will focus on the dissociative identity disorder of the main personality that holds the Moon Knight name, Marc Spector.
Yet, with a series that has so many questions regarding the protagonist of the story, fans know even less about the villain of the story.
We have guessed, and we know the actor who is likely to portray the main villain, but his identity and motive are still very much hidden.
What we do know, is that Ethan Hawke is all kinds of creepy in Marvel’s first Moon Knight trailer.
Said to be playing a character named Arthur Harrow, there is a very interesting and distinguishable aura of the long-awaited and highly anticipated debut.
Seemingly portraying some kind of cult leader, there are some questions as to whether or not Arthur Harrow will be based solely on his comic book counterpart.
A much more obscure Moon Knight villain, Harrow is a noble peace prize-winning Doctor who is known for his scientific and medicinal advancements in Pain Theory; with his research being based on experiments run by the Nazi government.
A villain in every sense of the word, many expect Hawke’s Harrow to be a version of both that original Moon Knight villain and one of the character’s most important and well-known villains, the Sun King.
Also a cult leader, the Sun King acts as the antithesis to Marc Spector’s Moon Knight; with both being the entity chosen for the inhabited power of ancient Egyptian gods.
A story that will likely get very mythical, we cant wait to see just what Hawke has in store for his very creepy Doctor.
