Fra Fee to Appear in Beauty & the Beast Prequel Series
In an article posted to Geek Girl Authority by Melody McCune on Wednesday, January 19th, 2022, it was reported that Variety had revealed that Fra Fee, who played the role of Kazi Kazimierczak on the Marvel Cinematic Universe adaptation of Hawkeye, will be joining the cast of the upcoming Beauty and the Beast prequel series on Disney+.
Before Beauty and the Beast
The story will take place before the more familiar narrative which took place in 2017’s Beauty and the Beast, and will see Luke Evans (Gaston) and Josh Gad (LeFou) reprising their respective roles.
The series will also feature Briana Middleton as LaFou’s stepsister, Tilly. Meanwhile, Fee will play Prince Benoit Berlioz, who is “a childhood friend of Tilly’s who has grown into a handsome, charismatic, confident prince.”
According to a report on Variety, here’s what you can expect from the prequel show’s story:
“Set in the iconic kingdom of Beauty and the Beast years before the Beast and Belle’s romance, the series will follow Gaston and LeFou as they set off with Tilly after a surprising revelation from her past comes to light, sending the trio off on an unexpected journey.”
Will we be seeing more of Kazi in the MCU? Well, in addition to the upcoming Echo series, which bears the name of the character with whom Fee’s Kazi is most closely associated, it seems like a good sign that Fee is continuing to work closely with another Disney+ production!
