Three FCBD Titles
As the most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers will already be aware, for 2022’s FCBD on May 7th, 2022, Marvel Comics is releasing three different titles. In the article posted to the official Marvel website, details about the first title, Free Comic Book Day: Spider-Man/Venom #1 were revealed.
This issue will feature two stories. The first will center the next arc of Amazing Spider-Man, which will be written by Zeb Wells and feature the work of returning Marvel Comics legacy artist John Romita, Jr. Whether or not the FCBD issue will reveal just what it was that Peter did, it will certainly tie into the upcoming storyline: just look at how often we’re looking back at the setup from 2021’s FCBD – Spider-Man/Venom title!
And the second story in the 2022 FCBD Spider-Man/Venom title will “give fans a chance to check out” the work that Al Ewing, Ram V, and Bryan Hitch are currently undertaking on Venom.
In addition to the 2022 FCBD Spider-Man/Venom title, Marvel Comics is also releasing two more free issues on May 7th: FCBD: Avengers/X-Men #1 and FCBD: Marvel’s Voices #1.
