‘Ironheart’ Reportedly Adds Anthony Ramos
Marvel’s newest series on one of its upcoming characters has just grown its cast as Ironheart reportedly adds Anthony Ramos.
One of the most intriguing character debuts set for Marvel’s lauded Phase Four is the character of Riri Williams.
A Marvel Comics icon who inherited the legacy of the Marvel Universe armored superhero after the death of Tony Stark, it is safe to assume that Williams will fill a similar role for the MCU.
The MIT student who creates her own hi-tech suit of armor which she uses to protect the world, Williams takes on the moniker of Ironheart; carrying the mantle of Iron Man in one of the coolest legacy characters in comics history.
With the character set to first debut to MCU fans in the highly anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, we already know that Marvel Studios is moving forward with an Ironheart Disney+ series that will explore the character even further.
That series has just grown its cast by one incredibly talented broadway talent as Ironheart reportedly adds Anthony Ramos.
First reported by ComicBook.com, states, “In The Heights star Anothony Ramos has reportedly been cast in ‘a key role’ in Marvel’s Ironheart, the upcoming series set for a release on Disney+.”
There are few details on just who Ramos could play in the series, but one can assume that he will be an important addition to the cast alongside Dominique Thornes Riri William’s.
Skyrocketing to fame after his starring performance in the adored musical, Hamilton, as John Laurens and Phillip Hamilton, Ramos followed playwright Lin- Manuel Miranda and starred in the film adaptation of his first musical In The Heights; portraying the character Miranda originated, Usnavi De La Vega.
Playing important roles in films like A Star Is Born, Godzilla: King of Monster, and Trolls World Tour, Ramos brings the perfect blend of experience and youthfulness to Ironheart, in a series that we cannot wait for!
