‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Merch Confirms Valkyrie is Officially the King of New Asgard
A fan-favorite Marvel character has been given an update in status as Thor: Love and Thunder merch confirms Valkyrie is officially the King of New Asgard.
There are few Marvel characters as endeared to the audience as Thor; with his struggles coping with the burden of leadership, to his characters confrontation with depression and the toll of failure, his story has captivated fans of the MCU.

Taika Waititi was the mastermind behind the reimagining of Thor with the wildly beloved Thor: Ragnarok, the third installment of the character MCU saga that acted more like a reconstruction of who fans knew him to be, than a continuation of his journey.
It crafted a former king who was comfortable being the butt of every joke, and never took himself too seriously; with Waititi capitalizing on the inherent charm and charisma of Hemsworth himself.

Yet, with Thor being reimagined into the current beloved version of the character, Thor: Ragnarok also introduced fans to one of the most beloved characters of the newly designed Thor Franchise; Valkyrie.
Undeniably cool, capable, and hilarious, Valkyrie was an instant hit with fans, and quickly became one of Thor’s closest companions; and when the time came to find a new home for the Asgardians left without a sanctuary, it was Valkyrie that embraced the role Thor could never handle.

And it finally appears as though she is being given a proper title as new Thor: Love and Thunder merch confirms VAlkryie is officially the King of New Asgard.
In a recent LEGO set revealed to fans, every character has their official Marvel title by their name: With Valkyrie’s title reading simply as, “King Valkyrie.”

It is a development that was necessary, as Valkyrie is truly the greatest embodiment of kingship; with her focus on her people, and her strength unmatched, she is uniquely qualified to serve as the King of New Asgard.
What happens to the New Asgardians in Thor: Live and Thunder will certainly be a focus of the upcoming film, but knowing they have the right person on the throne will certainly make the journey all the more interesting for fans of the series.
