Marvel Debuts Trailer for Brand New ‘Ghost Rider #1’
One of the universe’s most iconic characters is making a return, as Marvel debuts a brand new trailer for Ghost Rider #1!
There are few characters as engrained into the fandom of Marvel comics as the man with a flaming skull for a head; Ghost Rider has been a staple for the publication since his inception in 1967.

With an iconic design, the chance for the comic book universe to veer into horror themes with a character so connected with devilish creatures of the night, and a motorcycle that sports tires engulfed in flames; the mantle of Ghost Rider has been one that many fans have grown attached.
And now, he’s making his return, as Marvel debuts a trailer for the brand new Ghost Rider #1 series, helmed by Benjamin Percy and Cory Smith and following the fan-favorite original Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze.

The book is on sale this month and features an incredible cover by Kael Ngu, which shows the Ghost Rider in all of his fiery glory, onboard the Hell Cycle.
Based on the trailer, it appears as though Percy and Smith are taking the character to the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe; as horrific imagery, and brutal depictions of nightmarish visions haunt the entire trailer.

These glimpses into the terror that awaits seem to prime the viewer for a truly dark series, with a focus on the character’s connections to the demonic entities that granted him his power.
There has always been this aspect of the character, and it has always set him apart from his contemporaries, but the work of Percy and Smith truly seems dedicated to delving deeper into the supernatural realm of Marvel than ever before.
