Mark Ruffalo Talks, “Passing the banner,” to ‘She/Hulk’ Star Tatiana Maslany
With the introduction of the MCUs newest gamma radiated hero, Mark Ruffalo talks “passing the banner” to She/Hulk star Tatiana Maslany.
One of the highly anticipated Disney+ series of Marvel’s current Phase Four slate is none other than the recently announced She/Hulk.
Disney+ Day saw Marvel Studios give a first look into the series centered around the lawyer turned superhero Jennifer Walters, along with a tease of the upcoming Ms. Marvel, and the impending Moon Knight.
The premise of She/Hulk centers around Walter’s journey as an attorney who protects the rights of the superhero community; all the while, taking the form similar to the gamma-radiated hero wildly known as The Hulk.
The series will feature the debut of an MCU character poised to be one of Marvel’s most beloved moving forward, and it seems as though the previous Hulk of the MCU is ready and more than willing to pass the baton to the next generation of the hulking Marvel hero.
In a recent interview, Mark Ruffalo talked about “passing the banner” to She/Hulk herself Tatiana Maslany, as she has already impressed the veteran actor in the scenes the duo has filmed for the upcoming series.
CBR.com reported Ruffalo’s statement at the red carpet premiere of his upcoming Netflix film, The Adam Project.
Ruffalo stated, “Tatiana Maslany is frickin’ legendary as She/Hulk, I’m passing the banner onto her…There are some really good, funny, cool, long, long scenes between Professor and her. We’ve never really seen the Hulk interact with people the way he does in that show.”
The MCU veteran concludes by stating, “It’ll be really interesting,” for which we have absolutely no doubt that it will be.
Watching the Hulk not only interact with, but seemingly mentor, the next Hulk for the MCU is going to be absolutely fascinating, and uncovering the backstory of Jennifer Walters and her ascension into the next Hulk-like character of the MCU will be just as interesting.
All in all, She/Hulk is shaping up to be a can’t miss series for the MCU; and we cannot wait!
