Marvel Gives Fans a First Look at the Upcoming ‘Captain America #0’
We’re entering a brand new dawn for Captain America, and a whole new era for the legendary shield as Marvel gives fans a first look at the upcoming Captain America #0
There are few comic book characters that have been as beloved for as long as the iconic Marvel creation, Captain America.
A World War II creation that presented the greatest aspects of the American Dream, Steve Rogers represented American Ideals and fought for the preservation of those with his now-iconic striped Shield.
That mantle was then passed down to the beloved Sam Wilson, a rightful inheritor to the incredible weight of responsibility that came froth from the burden of being Captain America, and taking his places the Shield holder for an entirely new generation.
This year has represented a brand new era for those two characters, and that iconic persona, with the simultaneous launch of two Captain America series at Marvel.
The first of these is Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty, crafted by the brilliant writers Jackson Laning and Collin Kelly, as well the magnificent artist Carmer Carnero.
While Marvel is also set to release Captain America: Symbol of Truth, which will explore the character of Sam Wilson from writer Tochi Onyebuchi and artist R.B. Silva.
These two stories, however, will both begin in April’s Captain America #0, where the two iconic Captain America team up to fight against the menacing Arnim Zola.
Marvel is answering fans’ anticipation with a brand new preview of that upcoming issue, as the beautiful opening battle brought to life by artist Mattia De Lulis is available right now!
Arnim Zola is one of the most memorable Captain America villains in his robust rogue’s gallery and is one of the most interesting Marvel villains throughout their vast history.
The beauty of Captain America #0, and the two coinciding comic runs, is that fans will be able to see these two, fan-favorite, Marvel heroes stand on their own while establishing and revisiting the qualities that have so endeared them to Marvel fans.
We cannot wait for this incredible issue available on April 20th!
