Marvel Releases Final ‘Moon Knight’ Trailer That Shows Off Monstrous New Villains
With the long-awaited MCU Disney+ series just nine days away, Marvel has released the final Moon Knight trailer that shows off some monstrous-looking villains.
As the Moon Knight promotional comparing is entering its final days before the highly anticipated premiere of Marvel’s most interesting vigilante, fans are getting a clearer picture of just what awaits them this March 30th.
Few characters can boast the same level of intrigue and narrative interest as the former mercenary turned super-powered crime-fighting force, as Marc Spector is a unique case in the world of Comic Books; making him an even more unique case in the world of Comic book adaptations.
The character suffers from dissociative identity disorder, a mental illness that crafts multiple personalities within the sufferer, something that makes Marc’s life rather difficult; yet, it only becomes more difficult when an Egyptian deity grants him superpowers.
The final Moon Knight trailer released by Marvel gives a better look into that discrepancy into reality perception that Spector faces; seeing him communicate with himself, and come to grips with the mercenary past o his Soectir identity.
It is interesting that the series seems to begin with a focus on Steven Grant- the cockney, gift shop clerk, who has no idea of his past life as Spector- with the other personality informing him on the presence of these various personalities that he may have suppressed.
What adds to the interest from this first trailer is the brand new action scenes that we’ve seen; showing off the character of Moon Knight and his violent form of justice that is a staple of his comic counterpart.
All of this seems to be enough to get massive buy-in from audiences but in case you were still on the fence, Marvel gave fans their first look at the various enemies of the series; showing off monstrous characters that Moon Knight seems to be fending off.
These are probably summoned by the main antagonist of the series, Arthur Harrow, and we can not wait to see Marc’s Moon Knight go head to head against these various villains in what should be a fantastic Disney+ entry for the MCU.
