Brand New ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Trailer Brings Back Two Vital MCU Characters
The biggest film in the history of the MCU thus far is well on its way, with presale tickets officially going on sale, a brand new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer has arrived, and it brings back two vital MCU characters.
It is not overstating it to say that the latest entry into the MCU will be one of the biggest and most important films in Marvel Studio’s illustrious history.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will reintroduce fans to Marvel’s resident sorcerer in a brand new way, as he goes head to head against alternate realities and the unfortunate byproduct of tampering with the delicate multiverse.
Strange will team up with some of the MCU’s strongest characters such as Marvel’s sorcerer supreme, Wong, the Scarlett Witch herself Wanda, and the debuting America Chavez.
The newest wave of posters released to commemorate the official sale of tickets to the film ahead of its May 6th release has shown off just the level of madness that awaits audiences; with Wanda and Strange likely existing in a present world in which there are many variants.
We already know that the film will showcase multiple versions of Doctor Strange, likely pulling from the version showcased in the animated Marvel anthology series, What If…?; the biggest question is if the film will also see brand new variants of Wanda.
Yet, it appears as though her character will once again be tortured in a way seemingly reserved for the grief-stricken character, as a brand new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer brings back two vital MCU characters; the two that essentially birthed the present Scarlett Witch.
In the latest trailer, Billy and Tommy are both seen in a scene in which Wanda goes from hugging the boys, to being alone without their embrace; fueling the narrative in which a broken Wanda eventually becomes the main antagonist of the film.
Either way, we cannot wait to see what Sam Raimi has in store for the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
