Marvel Legends Thor: Love and Thunder Wave Leaked
The Marvel Legends wave for Thor: Love and Thunder have leaked and gives us our first look at how various characters will appear in Love and Thunder!
The leaked wave shows us a plethora of characters! Including the villainous Gorr, the next stage of Groot’s growth, the new King of Asgard Valkyrie, and a first-hand look at both Thor and Jane Foster’s ‘Mighty Thor’!

The wave will consist of 7 individual figures; each holding a piece for a build-a-figure that looks to be Korg! In this wave, we see three distinct Thors; Ravager Thor, Mighty Thor, and Thor.
The remaining figures include King Valkyrie, Star-Lord, Gorr, and Groot, each depicted with what we can assume is their likeness in Thor: Love and Thunder. Additional leaks include the Marvel Legend promo art along with a small generalized summary of the character’s role in the film.

One of the leaked pieces of promo art consists of Ravager Thor. We can assume that Ravager Thor will show up at the beginning of the film, and his attire is from his time spent with the Guardians of The Galaxy. Considering Thor left to travel the universe with the Guardians at the end of Endgame, and the Ravagers are deeply connected to the Guardians through Star-Lord.
This figure also bears a great deal of resemblance to the picture posted by Chris Hemsworth after filming Love and Thunder. An interesting part of the bio is that Thor is ‘”wielding Stormbreaker against a terrifying new foe”, who we can assume is Gorr!

The Gorr promo art displays perhaps the clearest and most detailed image of Gorr we have seen thus far in any leaked content. Brandishing his Necrosword and wrapped in a pure white cloak, this Gorr seems to have a great deal of difference from the comics Gorr, lacking the more alien features that Gorr had in the comics.
Additionally, some dark markings or tattoos seem to adorn Gorr’s skin. Gorr definitely throws out a creepish and intimidating visage with a deathly intense gaze, perhaps akin to the infamous villain Voldemort.

King Valkyrie has also been given a new figure in this wave, allowing us to glimpse how Valkyrie will appear in Love and Thunder. Once again wielding her trusty sword, Valkyrie looks to retain all the awesomeness that she is carrying over from Thor: Ragnarok, now ruling over the remaining Asgardian people as their king.
The summary listed on her promo art mirrors Ravager Thor’s as it speaks of a new threatening visitor, with the new visitor most assuredly being Gorr.

Finally, the most highly anticipated of the bunch is that of Mighty Thor. Mighty Thor, explained by the promo art summary, is Jane Foster imbued with the powers of Thor and wielding the mighty Mjolnir. How Jane Foster will come to possess the powers and how Mjolnir is reforged is currently unknown, but Jane Foster looks absolutely fantastic as Thor!
We truly cannot wait to see Mighty Thor’s appearance in the movie. The comic incarnation of Jane Foster was incredibly memorable and electrifying, taking comic readers by storm. We hope the movie Jane Foster can match her!

The figures look remarkable and give us a great sneak-peek at how the characters will appear in Thor 4. While the trailer still hasn’t dropped, breaking the horrible record of being the MCU film with the least amount of time from trailer to release date, the movie is inching closer and closer to its electrifying release!
While I’m certainly excited about the film, I also can’t wait to add these amazing-looking Marvel Legends to my collection!
