Marvel Insider Reports No Superior Iron Man in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’
As is commonplace in this new era of Marvel films, rumors and fan theories have dominated the internet, yet, one popular theory has been debunked as a Marvel Insider reports no Superior Iron Man in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Marvel Phase Four has captivated the imagination of nearly all MCU fans, as the focus on creativity, ambition, and the multiverse have dominated this phase of Marvel projects.
There is maybe none that compiles all of these factors in the way that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is primed to.
Picking up where Spider-Man: No Way Home left off, the highly anticipated Doctor Strange sequel places Marvel’s resident sorcerer against the unraveling multiverse and the crushing alternate realities present within it.
The film, by the very nature of its unpredictability, has continued the MCU trend of fostering some wild fan theories and rampant speculation about what could appear in the long-awaited sequel.
One popular theory has reportedly just been debunked, as a fairly well-known Marvel Insider reports no Superior Iron Man in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
CBR.com reported an interaction between fan and industry insider KC Walsh that has confirmed the character will not be present in the upcoming film, despite many fans believing that he had already been shown in the trailer.
The interaction saw a fan ask how much screentime would be given to the Iron Man variant- who many believed would be portrayed by Tom Cruise- to which Walsh responded with a GIF of former United States President Bill Clinton saying, “Zero!”

Controversy had been rampant when fans initially assumed that it was a variant of Iron Man in the trailer, with the presence of Superior Iron Man a likely guess thanks to his more villainous nature.
Although the character would have been incredible in some capacity, it makes sense for Marvel to avoid Iron Man for the time being; with Robert Downey Jr. putting the character to bed in Avengers: Endgame, it feels right to let Tony Stark rest.
It is worth noting, however, that Walsh may not be telling the whole truth; as Marvel hasn’t shown a propensity to give insiders a lot of information they cant prove.
