John Stamos is the New Voice of Iron Man
John Stamos will be the voice of Tony Stark/Iron Man on season two of Spidey and His Amazing Friends.
Robert Downy Jr.’s Iron Man and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man exist as central characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Although their mentor/mentee relationship ended with Avengers: Endgame, this monumental friendship will now be explored in a new format.
The Plot Thickens…
The first season of the Disney Junior animated series focused mostly on Peter Parker (Benjamin Valic), Miles Morales (Jakari Fraser), and Gwen Stacy (Lily Sanfelippo). However, season two promises to be more exciting. The plot will expand the breadth of protagonists and antagonists featured in the show.
In the new season, Electro will aspire to drain electricity from the city. In response, Spidey and his friends will work together to restore power. They’ll need help from Avengers like Tony Stark, Ant-Man (Sean Giambrone), Wasp (Maya Tuttle), Reptil (Hoku Ramirez), Black Cat (Jaiden Klein), and Sandman (Tom Wilson).
New Music On the Way
Much of the story will also revolve around the inception of a new glowing web formula. Moreover, new music will commemorate this invention. Called “Glow Webs Glow,” the new song was written by Patrick Stump, frontman of Fall Out Boy. The musician is also credited with the show’s theme song.
The new season of Spidey and his Amazing Friends premieres on Disney Junior on August 22.
