Moon Knight Finale Will be Series’ Shortest Episode Yet
Despite it standing tall as one of the best series in the MCU, we have received the saddening news that the Moon Knight finale will be its shortest episode yet.
There is no denying that the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series is among the best work that Marvel has ever done.
The project has explored the eponymous character, and his many alternate personalities, and made up the story of Marc Spector.
The series has been as emotionally complex, and heartbreaking as any story that Marvel has crafted; keeping in line with the Phase Four trend of creating projects that are emotionally resonant and grounded in the truest suffering and pain of these characters.
Marc Spector and Steven Grant have only needed five episodes to engage fans in a way that firmly establishes them as some of the most beloved debuts of Marvel’s Phase Four, as some of the most intriguing characters ever to grace an MCU project.
Although the series has been a critical success, it appears as though the creative team has told most of the story, as the Moon Knight finale will reportedly be the series’ shortest episode yet.
The news comes by way of a report by CBR.com, that suggests the culminating episode will only be 42 minutes long, which makes it shorter than the series premiere, which boasted a 47-minute runtime.
Episodes 2 through 3pisode 5 all featured runtimes that exceeded the 50-minute mark, which makes the decision to shorten the finale a very interesting one.
The series latest episode was easily our favorite of the series thus far, as Moon Knight truly dove deeper into the mental illness that has burdened Marc Spector, and the past events that have been the deciding factors in his struggle.
It has been stated by many on the creative team that these final two episodes will be the two most important of the series, and we can only hope that the shorter runtime doesn’t hinder the incredible story that we are likely to receive in the monumental finale of Moon Knight.
