‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Could Create the Most Dangerous Marvel Villain Ever…
The latest Marvel adventure has been an undeniable success, and the narrative could have set in motion the arrival of an immensely dangerous entity, as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could create the most dangerous Marvel villain ever.
A film that was promised to be an unforgettable mind-bending adventure through the multiverse made good on its billing, as the Sam Raimi-helmed Doctor Strange sequel has quickly become one of the most interesting films in the MCU to date
With Doctor Strange partnering with characters like Wong and newcomer America Chavez, the film set some of the strongest MCU heroes up against Wanda Maximoff- fully embracing the Scarlet Witch persona- as she attempted to unleash her incredible power across the multiverse.
The film set Wanda as an insurmountable villain, and in the process of her vengeful actions, may have created something far more dangerous than her.
We will have to dive into some Doctor Strange SPOILERS so if you haven’t seen the movie, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
In Wanda’s hunt for America Chavez, the now infamous scene of her infiltration into the Illuminati headquarters take place, and we have one of the film’s most interesting moments occurs.
Could Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness create the most dangerous Marvel Villain ever? Well…Let us explain.
In the film, the Illuminati confront Wanda, with John Krasinski’s Reed Richards first trying to reason with her; which leads to the two discussing their children.
Wanda asks if the children’s mother will be around to raise them after he’s gone, to which he answers with a yes; before the Scarlet Witch proceeds to explode his head.
This is interesting because it makes a point to note that, in this universe, Reed Richards and Sue Storm have given birth to their children- Franklin and Valeria Richards- but with Wanda killing this version of Reed, they now lost their father.
Franklin Richards is known, by many, as the strongest Marvel character ever, creating entire universes as a child just for fun, and with his father dead, we can imagine a scenario- at some point far in the future- where Franklin comes back for revenge.
It would be similar to a story from Fantastic Four #574, where a much older Franklin goes back in time to confront the past version of the Fantastic Four.
This time, we could see a much older Frankling travel throughout the multiverse, seeking out Wanda, and seeking revenge against the entire MCU.
It would be a villain that is stronger than anyone Marvel has introduced thus far, and if Franklin did find his way to the Main Marvel Universe in an attempt to take down Wanda, then Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness would’ve created the most dangerous Marvel villain of all time.
