Marvel Releases Brand New ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Poster
The long-awaited installment of the MCU’s Thor saga is set for release this summer, and with the first full-length trailer being shown yesterday, Marvel has also released a brand new Thor: Love and Thunder poster.
With the birth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe over a decade ago, three foundational characters were birthed to usher in this new interconnected film franchise.
With two of those characters now gone, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor has become the first to get his fourth solo movie, for a good reason, with few Marvel heroes endearing themselves to Marvel fans in the way that he has.
With a metamorphosis taking place during the Taika Waititi-helmed Thor: Ragnarok, the character had entered an entirely new state prior to his appearances in the final two Infinity Saga films.
The long-awaited sequel to those films is finally arriving this summer, and with a release date just a month away, fans got their first look into what they can expect with a full-length trailer arriving yesterday.
It was incredible, and promised to explore the character in a brand new way, and force him to face off against one of Marvel comics’ most beloved and terrifying villains; Gorr the God Butcher.
The trailer gave us our first look at the menacing and terrifying Gorr, as well as Christian Bale’s performance, and promised a battle between god and hunter that will be one for the ages.
Accompanying the fantastic full-length trailer, Marvel has released a brand new Thor: Love and Thunder poster to build excitement even more; if that’s even possible.

The poster shows a better look at some of what was promised in the trailer; from Thor’s blue and gold armor to the Mighty Thor, to characters like Korg, Valkyrie, and the horrific Gorr in the top left.
One thing can be certain from these first looks into the promotional campaign for the film; Thor: Love and Thunder promise to be a visually stunning film with phenomenal performances to boot.
and we cannot wait.
