Was Jane Foster Blipped?
The highly-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder have recently given fans their first full-length trailer, showcasing just what they can expect out of this brand new MArvel adventure; yet, one development has us asking the question, was Jane Foster blipped?
There are few Marvel projects that Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have waited more patiently for than the upcoming fourth Thor film.

Setting the character in his most unfamiliar territory, the story of Thor: Love and Thunder is centered around purpose, and perspective; as the film’s eponymous character grapples with the reality of his heroism, and what he has done for the universe thus far.
The long-awaited full-length trailer for the film has finally arrived, and with fans getting their first full look at the arrival of the film’s main antagonist, Gorr the God Butcher, and returning characters like Krog and Valkyrie, there is plenty to be excited for.

What is the most interesting part of the trailer, is what we can piece together about the circumstances surrounding the film, with one particular detail seeming to point to the one character’s fate over the course of their time in the Marvel Universe.
One small tidbit present in the trailer makes us ask the question, was Jane Foster blipped? There may be strong evidence to point to the fact that she was.

In the trailer, there is an interaction between Thor and Jane Foster that is played for comedic effect; where Jane, getting over the shock of her reunion with Thor, wonders how long it had been since they had last seen each other.
She assumes that it’s only been four or five years, with Thor then confirming it had, in fact, been around eight; with this pointing to the fact that Jane Foster could’ve, in fact, been the half of the population that was blipped via that Thanos snap.

It would make sense, with these characters missing out on five years of their life, that she believes it had only been four years since she last saw Thor- because for her, it was only four years- when in actuality she has snapped away for half of that time.
It will be interesting to observe if Jane Foster was snapped, and how that could impact her story alongside Thor and the team set to face off against the wrath of Gorr the God Butcher.
