Marvel Releases Poster and Release Date for ‘I Am Groot’
A highly anticipated series that has been slated for a summer release on Disney+ has finally revealed some new information, as Marvel releases a poster and release date for the upcoming I am Groot.
There are few factions of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that are as beloved to the fanbase as the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The team of intergalactic bounty hunters is one of the most interesting collectives in the entire MCU, with the James Gunn-helmed films focusing on these various individuals of differing backgrounds and even species, who come together to help the universe; and maybe make some loose change on the side
The group has played a major role in a lot of the MCU’s biggest moments, and was first credited with the establishment of the cosmic realm of the universe in a way that was previously unexplored; defining much of the humor and aesthetic that it has come to be defined by.

Those characters are set to return in one of the most anticipated entries of the MCU’s current Phase Four, in the long-awaited Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 that should change so much of what we know the team to be.
Before the arrival of that film, however, there are two previously announced projects surrounding the team that is slated to arrive before that third installment.

There are the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which is still very much shrouded in secrecy, and there is the very mysterious new series focused on one of the group’s most popular members; a series that we now have more information about.
Marvel has recently revealed a poster and release date for I Am Groot; a Disey+ exclusive that will provide animated shorts centered on the lovable Groot.

The series is now officially slated for an August release and should be one of the most interesting projects to come from Marvel Studios this summer; and one that we cannot wait for.
