Samuel L. Jackson Gives Update on ‘Secret Invasion’ and ‘The Marvels’
He has been one of the most vital and interconnected characters in the history of the MCU, and he remains a character that is as involved in the franchise as ever; Samuel L. Jackson has recently given an update on Secret Invasion and The Marvels.
Without Nick Fury, there would be no Avengers; there would be no Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, banding together, to save the planet from intergalactic and transplanetary threats.
For as much as we adore heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor, it is so easy to overlook the reality that Nick Fury is the mastermind behind it all.
He has interwoven his story with the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and thus inadvertently becomes the most intriguing untold story of the entire Marvel Universe.
That may finally change, as Secret Invasion is set to tell the untold story of Nick Fury; one that we cannot wait to see unfold in the grand scheme of the Marvel Universe.
With many unsure of the timetable of Fury’s return, the man behind the eye patch recently spoke on the timing of these various projects that are primed to tell these stories, as Samuel L. Jackson gives an update on Secret Invasion and The MArvels.
IN an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Reported by ComicBook.com), Jackson spoke about filming he still has to do for the two series; revealing that the final product is still a ways away.
Asked if he was done filming, Jackson stated, “No, I’m not done. I am on my way back to London at some point in August, But I got to go back and do stuff for The MArvels, and then I got to do stuff for Secret INvasion.”
It is unfortunate that the series are both still a ways away, but at least this lets us know that the two projects are entering into the reshoots phase; which typically means that they are on the horizon at some point.
