‘Ms. Marvel’ Episode 4 Reportedly Cut Red Dagger Backstory
He was one of the interesting arrivals in the Marvel Cinematic Universes’ newest series, and it appears as though there was a lot that was originally intended to be shown to audiences, as the series producer reveals that Ms. Marvel episode 4 reportedly cut Red Dagger backstory.
It has easily been one of the MCU’s most successful projects in terms of its critical reception and has brilliantly brought to life one of the iconic Marvel characters that the current comic book material has to offer.

Ms. Marvel is a creative, vibrant, and unique series that perfectly brings to life the iconic character of Kamala Khan that feels so tremendously truthful to who she is; while telling her very specific, but increbily relateable, story of her struggles as a Muslim-American student who becomes a superhero.
The two most recent episodes have taken Kamala and her mother back to Karachi, where she comes face to face with her heritage and the family past that had played an integral part in catapulting her into this newfound world of heroism.

In Pakistan, she meets a character named the Red Dagger, who represents an interesting sect of Pakistani vigilantes, and it turns out that what we were given on the characters may have been a much shorter version of what was originally intended.
The series producer, and the co-creator of Kamala, Sana Amanat, noted that Ms. Marvel cut a lot of the Red Dagger backstory.

In an interview with EW, Amanat stated, “I’m a huge fan of the Red Daggers. I love making them an order. The only thing is, if you asked me what I wish that we had more time for, it would be delving into the backstory of The Order of the Red Daggers.”
Amanat added, “There’s a lot more that we were percolating on that we just didn’t have time to shoot, frankly. But I love their team-up.”

The Red Daggers were a fascinating inclusion to the Ms. Marvel series and were still holding out hope that, at some point, we will be able to see the backstory that was unable to be included in this first season.
