There is no underselling the tremendous impact of the MCU’s foray into Disney+ and the streaming wars, and it seems as though its incredible content released this year has made its mark on the industry, as Marvel Studios gets 19 Emmy Nominations for 2022.
After first delving into the world of long-form storytelling last year, Marvel has transitioned seamlessly into storytelling in both the world of film and in the world of episodic television via the Disney exclusive streaming platform.
Phenomenal series like WandaVision broke through and truly redefined the Marvel method, proving that this brand new uncharted territory would be the perfect place for the Marvel Universe to continue its seemingly endless expansion.
Their work on the streaming platform has proven its worth in the eyes of the critics as well as fans, as Marvel Studios has received 19 Emmy nominations for its projects released in 2022 via a report by Variety.
Hawkeye was one of the series recognized, receiving two nominations; one for Best Stunt Coordination for a Comedy Series, and one for Best Stunt Performances; something well deserved for the series that made great use of its action set pieces.
Loki continued the nominations, receiving six in total; Best ProductionDesign for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program, Best Cinematography for a single-camera series, best fantasy/ sci-fi costumes, best music composition for a series, best original main title theme music, and best sound edition for a comedy.

Rounding out the nominations was What If…? which got three nominations for the best-animated program as well as best character voice-over performance for both Jeffery Wright and Chadwick Boseman.
It will be interesting to see how many of these awards Marvel can secure, but it certainly speaks to the level of excellence that is being executed by the studio.
