The animated realm of Marvel Studios has only expanded its list of projects and platforms, as it has become a point of focus for the developing MCU; it has now been reported that the upcoming animated series, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is set to feature an extensive list of guest stars.
Throughout the massive pantheon of Marvel’s heroes and villains, few are as eclectic, unique, and interesting as the duo of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur; a team of the world’s smartest children, and her pet dinosaur who fights crime alongside her.
Those two are now going to be adapted to the world of animation- a world befitting such an interesting set of characters for the very first time, in a brand new series set to debut on Disney Channel, and aimed at younger audiences to act as their first foray into the world of Marvel superheroes.
With the series set to arrive in the coming months, there has been a lot more known about the project since an announcement that took place at Thursday’s San Diego Comic-Con, where ET revealed that Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur were set to feature an extensive list of Guest Star.
The cast of the series is centered on its eponymous duo,13-year-old Lunella, played by Diamond White, and her 10-year-old Devil Dinosaur played by Fred Tatasciore; with the main cast including Alfre Woodard, Libe Barer, Sasheer Zamata, Jermaine Fowler, Gary Anthony Willians, and Laurence Fishburne
What wasn’t known, however, was that the series will feature some incredibly well-known performers in guest appearances; such as Alison Brie, Andy Cohen, Daveed Diggs, Maya Hawke, Jennifer Hudson, Method Man, Cobi Smulders, and Wesley Snipes.
The series is set to debut at some point in 2023, and it is aiming to truly make New York City’s Lower East Side to life in this creative, vibrant, and unique project that should bring a whole new kind of character to a new kind of Marvel Universe.
