‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Trailer Promises a New Black Panther
With fans clamoring for any kind of update surrounding the 30th film in the history of the MCU, the SDCC mega panel for Marvel Studios ended with the long-awaited Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer; one that promises a new Black Panther.
There was a tremendous amount of uncertainy surrounding the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Univers project, not only to do with whether or not fans would get a look into its arrival but just what could occur in the highly enigmatic entry.

There is maybe no film in the history of the MCU as an endeavor that has faced as many unforeseen and tragic circumstances as the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2016 epic, Black Panther; with the film’s lead tragically passing prior to the film’s conclusion.
With the film easily among the most mysterious of the MCU’s entries, with many unable to even theorize what could occur, fans have been clamoring for a trailer in hopes of uncovering just some of the mystery; and with that trailer finally arriving at Comic-Con, one of its biggest questions have been answered.

The trailer, although short and very concise, does clearly show a Wakandan nation that is in mourning, with all of the characters dealing with the unfortunate and surprising death of T’Challa; and many are curious as to what that means for the mantle, the trailer showed that there will be an inheritor.
In the final moments of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer, it was clearly shown that there will be a new Black Panther, with the only true question being who will inhabit the suit, and embrace the identity that was yielded by the former king.

Many have guessed that the character to do such would be Shuri, and with eh slender build of the silhouetted Black Panther character that is shown, it certainly does seem like a fairly accurate guess that could in fact be proven true.
Shuri was a focal point of the trailer, and her role seems immensely expanded, which is befitting the character as the only true heir to the throne of Wakanda.
