Hasbro Gives a Sneak Peek At Upcoming She-Hulk Marvel Legend!
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is set to release on August 17th! With the show only a few weeks away, Hasbro has given us a sneak peek at the new She-Hulk Marvel Legend that will be available for pre-order later this year.
The new She-Hulk series will follow Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters as she gains access to her own set of Hulk powers. An attorney from Los Angeles, Walters must navigate the new multifaceted nature of her new life as a Hulk, adapting to her new Hulk abilities while defending fellow superhumans as a lawyer.
She-Hulk first appeared in Marvel Comics in The Savage She-Hulk #1 (1980). The daughter of a sheriff, Jennifer Walters would undergo her transformation to She-Hulk as Bruce Banner attempted to save her life following a deadly shooting, with no other donors present Bruce makes the decision to use his blood for a transfusion.
The men who shot her returned to finish the job, only to find that Walters now had the ability to transform into a giant green-skinned Hulk who disposed of them easily. Unlike her cousin Bruce, Walters possesses the powers of Hulk at a reduced level and is also able to better control her mental faculties, unlike Bruce whose identity was split.
The She-Hulk Marvel Legend figure mirrors She-Hulk’s appearance from the new series, particularly what looks to be her battle suit. One of the comedic moments featured in the trailer begins with Bruce Banner commenting that spandex will be her best friend, as Hulk is known for his clothing ripping upon transformation.
The figure is a remarkable replica of She-Hulk’s series design. From the different shades of green encompassing her hair and skin, the unique markings affixed to her battle suit, all the way down to the sneakers she wears. The head sculpt is probably the best part of the figure as it bares an amazing resemblance to She-Hulk.
While official specs of the figure have yet to be released, most Marvel Legend figures are around the 6-inch mark and always feature tremendous amounts of articulation allowing for a variety of different poses. This Marvel Legend will also contain the final Build-A-Figure piece for the ‘What If…” series of Marvel Legend figures.
Marvel Studios has continued to churn out amazing episodic series for Disney+. Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight released earlier this year and were phenomenal, with each episode leaving you wanting more. We hope to see She-Hulk continue this trend!
Already trailers involving the show have seen some returning Marvel faces such as Abomination Emil Blonsky, Wong, and even a tease of Daredevil making his triumphant return to the MCU in She-Hulk! This series is sure to be another wildly entertaining ride!
