Controversial Captain America Suit Rumored for ‘Marvel’s Avengers’
Despite being around for going almost two years, fans keep coming back due to the massive amounts of downloadable content and additions available in constant updates, and with new Skins coming every day, a controversial Captain America suit is rumored to arrive at some point in Marvel’s Avengers.
In recent years, after dominating both the comic book industry since its near inception and most other entertainment ventures, Marvel Studios has turned its attention towards the medium of video games, in hopes of expanding the Marvel Universe exponentially.
This has led to the creation of games like Sony’s Playstation exclusive Spider-Man and the subsequent Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Guardians of the Galaxy, and upcoming projects like the fast-approaching Midnight Sons; with perhaps none achieving the very unique status of Marvel’s Avengers.
A game that allows users to play as every major member of the iconic Marvel collective, the game strives for the freedom of character choice that is afforded to players amidst the various selections of levels and missions that await players throughout.
One beloved aspect of the game that has kept players coming back is the continued addition of different levels, skins, and even characters, that have only expanded options; with additions like Black Panther, Hawkeye, and Kate Bishop excited players to continue.
It seems as though one planned skin for the game could be a hit or miss with players, as it is remembered as one of the poorest received transformations in the Marvel comics universe, as the most controversial Captain America suit is rumored for Marvel’s Avenger.
I had mentioned that there was a suit referenced in Marvel's Avengers v2.5.2 that wasn't fully implemented yet. It's this one. pic.twitter.com/cslYzYFh0u

Coming from noted Avengers Insider, known simply as Miller on Twitter, wrote that Captain America’s infamous green Hydra suit is set to be made available in the game at some point, with the Tweet stating that it isn’t fully implemented yet, but could be available soon.
The suit is in reference to a moment in the comic books when Captain America was proven to be a double agent for Hydra; a develop[meant that- as one can imagine- was met with tremendous opposition from Marvel fans.
