Funko Unveils Limited Edition Diecast Thor POP!
There are few characters who have had as interesting a road to the hearts of Marvel fans as the God of Thunder, and with a recently released figurine from one of the biggest pop culture brands in the world, Funko unveils a limited edition diecast Thor POP!
Of the massive pantheon of heroes that Marvel has explored over the decades upon decades that they’ve been publishing comic books, perhaps none are as unique as the resident God of Thunder.

Thor was one of the original Avengers, but he was also from a very different background than what Marvel fans had known in the past, as he was a public domain hero that wasn’t an original creation of early Marvel icons Stan Lee or Jack Kirby.
But it was this Norse mythological figure that remained one of Marvel’s most crucial members to the team, and perhaps was even a large part in the overall development of the mythos and lore that the publication would employ in regard to its understanding and articulation of deities in the universe.

The character’s popularity only grew when he first arrived in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, brought to life by previously unknown actor Chris Hemsworth, he was a character that had an equally as interesting rise to becoming one of the MCU’s most beloved heroes.
And now, one of the biggest pop culture brands on the planet is celebrating the iconic that is the god of thunder with a brand new Chase variant of an upcoming item, as Funko has unveiled a limited edition Diecast Thor POP!

The item in question is a stunning iteration of the Funko figure that depicts Thor, looking as if it was bronze, with its diecast nature making it forged completely out of metal; offering a very unique, and very rare, alternative to the Thor figure that fans can currently purchase.
