‘She/Hulk’ is Creating Greatest Collection of Supporting Characters
It is a series that has clearly been tremendously well received in its first five episodes, with one thing being absolutely certain; She/Hulk is creating the greatest collection of supporting characters.
Since its arrival just five weeks ago, there is very little argument to be made against the fact that She/Hulk is a clear triumph for Marvel’s continued exploration into the Disney+ streaming platform.
There have been some tremendous Marvel projects to come from their Disney+ series, but the story of Jennifer Walters- when its nine-episode first season concludes- may well be one of the very best; as it already maybe it’s most entertaining.
The duo of writer Jessica Gao- who is almost certain to have a long future with Marvel Studios- and director Kat Coiro have crafted a smart, and expansive world that uses self-aware comedy to bring light to some of Marvel’s most interesting and unexplored aspects.
Tatiana Maslany has also shined in the title role and proved why she isn’t just a tremendous actress, but she is the perfect choice to bring to life a character that requires the endearment of Jennifer Walters.
Maslany may have already proven to be a fixture in the MCU for years to come because of her tremendous talent, but what is interesting about this series is how she is only part of what makes it terrific.
After five episodes, one thing is absolutely certain, She/Hulk is creating maybe the greatest collection of side characters that any Marvel project has seen.
It seems as though every episode introduces quirky, creative, vibrant, and magnetic side characters that add tremendous color to the Walter story.
Whether it be Bruce Banner, Emil Blonsky, Wong, Madisynn, Nikki, Pug, Donny Blaze, or the recently arriving Amelia; these are characters that bring such charm to the story that is unfolding before us.
And the greatest part about this cast of characters is that is certainly set to grow, with Matt Murdock already set to join the team in the coming episode, we cannot wait to see what else Gao and Coiro have in store.
