October is now Mephisto Month!
The spookiest time of the year is upon us, and it is time for the Halloween season to see us celebrating some of the scariest Marvel characters, and there is no one scarier than the resident devil, as October is now Mephisto Month at Marvel.
Throughout the history of Marvel comics, there is no shortage of terrifying heroes and villains that have provided some of the spookiest stories the medium has ever seen.

It is this commitment to the spook that has crafted so much of the supernatural realm, with characters like Blade- the living vampire who fights crime as the ultra-powerful Daywalker- or Werewolf by Night who is setting up to be the main character in his very own Disney+ special tomorrow.
But throughout those stories and those characters, there is one that trumps them all as far as his fear factor to readers, and he is now the source of celebration by Marvel, as October is now Mephisto Month!
Announced on the publisher’s Twitter, Marvel is horrifically releasing a new image of Mephisto every day for the entire month!

Why You ask? Well, that’s simple… Because why not?
In a press release about the campaign, Marvel stated, “it’s now officially, the scariest month of the year and as we all get ready to celebrate all the dastardly things that await over the next few weeks, what better way to do it than with the Prince of lies himself, the master of the realm of lost souls, the Lord of Darkness, Mister Fisto- Mephisto”
IT continued to state, “Yes, for the next 31 days here at Marvel.com, we’re bringing you exactly what you want for this spooky month; 31 days of Mephisto. Because it seems like some sort of trick he would do himself.”

We’re not sure what this means for Marvel, but it certainly seems as though it is headed towards some kind of Marvel event hat involves the demonic Marvel entitiy.
