Jessica Alba Has Simple Advice for Vanessa Kirby as She Gets Set to Play Sue Storm

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) version of the Fantastic Four set to arrive next year, the First Family of Marvel is back in the spotlight.

While Fantastic Four: First Steps will mark the iconic Marvel team’s MCU debut, it will not be the team has been adapted for the big screen.

That distinction would fall to 2005’s The Fantastic Four, which saw the superheroes portrayed by Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards), Jessica Alba (Johnny Storm), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm), and Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm).

The Fantastic Four Resurgence

Between the upcoming film and Chris Evans’s return as The Human Torch in Deadpool & Wolverine, all eyes have returned to the original Fantastic Four.

In a recent interview with Collider, Jessica Alba was asked if she had any advice for Vanessa Kirby, who will play Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

“I think just have fun. The fans are so amazing. It was probably one of the best times of my life, going around the world and meeting all of the people that just love The Fantastic Four and love these comic books and can relate to these stories,” Alba shared.

“That, to me, and to be able to meet so many different people that you can touch and bring joy to them, I would say that’s first and foremost for anyone who gets the honor of playing one of these awesome characters. So I’d tell her to just have fun and soak in the moments.”

Hopefully Kirby Enjoys the Experience

In recent months, Alba has had nothing but good things to say about her time as Sue Storm. Hopefully, Kirby has similar experience, and we get the MCU Fantastic Four film that fans have long waited for.
