The Fantastic Four Celebrate Christmas in New ‘First Steps’ Poster
As they prepare to make their Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut next year, the Fantastic Four celebrated Christmas by releasing a new poster for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The retro-looking poster featured a single ornament hanging from a Christmas tree, with the team’s iconic “4” logo prominently featured.
“Happy Holidays From Our Family to Yours,” the poster was captioned.
While the new First Steps poster did not reveal any further details about the upcoming film, it does complement what we already know.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps Will Take Place in the 1960s
Unlike most MCU films, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will not be set in modern times. Instead, it will be a 1960s period piece.
In the marketing leading up to the film’s release, the 60s aesthetic has been heavily featured, indicating that the time period will be an important factor in the film’s events.
Marvel’s First Family
The MCU iteration of Marvel’s First Family will be comprised of Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/The Invisible Girl), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing).
The principal cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps has frequently discussed how the familial relationship between The Four is at the core of the upcoming movie.
“The authorship that we have as a family is what’s anchoring us to this experience. And the rest of it is all valuable information and inspiration,” Pascal told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
