Marvel Quietly Cancels One of Its Longest Running Streaming Shows
According to a new report from TVLine, Marvel Studios has quietly ended one of its longest-running streaming series.
Marvel Studios’ Assembled, a staple of Disney+ since the debut of WandaVision in 2021, has been shelved.
For those who don’t know, the Marvel Studios’ Assembled series took fans behind the scenes of the latest Marvel streaming series and movies. Beginning with The Making of WandaVision, the series provided an unparalleled look behind the Marvel curtain.

“ASSEMBLED is a comprehensive series of documentary-style specials streaming on Disney+ that chronicles the creation of Marvel Studios’ thrilling new shows and theatrical releases. Journey behind-the-scenes of productions such as WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Loki via exclusive on-set footage,” the show’s synopsis read.
Marvel Has Quietly Canceled The Show
Unfortunately, since the release of The Making of Agatha All Along last November, no new installments in the series have been forthcoming. By this time, we should have seen episodes dedicated to Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, and Daredevil: Born Again.

According to insider Matt Webb Mitovich, Marvel has no plans to continue the series.
“I’m hearing that there are no new episodes of the Disney+ franchise planned at this time,” Mitovich reported.
End of an Era
By the sound of things, Marvel Studios’ Assembled will end its run with 22 episodes. Unfortunately, fans will now have to find other avenues to get behind-the-scenes access to Marvel productions. Hopefully, Marvel announces a new supplementary program to fill the void.
