Charlie Cox Gives a Promising Update on ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3
Charlie Cox grabbed headlines earlier this month when he referred to Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again as “the final season.”
As a quick refresher, Cox initially starred as The Man Without Fear in Netflix’s Daredevil series from 2015 to 2019. Earlier this year, he donned his iconic suit again for Daredevil: Born Again, a Disney+ series that not only continued the events of the original Netflix show but also gave Daredevil a proper MCU entrance.

The positive reception to Born Again made Cox’s statement all the more confusing for fans.
Did Cox Misspeak?
Over the course of the last several weeks, however, it became clear that Cox may have misspoke.

His Daredevil co-star Vincent D’Onofrio quickly weighed in, giving fans renewed hope for more seasons.
“I believe [Cox] meant the last season we actually shot, meaning the second season. Yet he used the term final season, so it’s a bit confusing,” the actor said.

Now, Cox has seemingly walked back his original comments.
A Change of Tune
In a new interview with ComicBookMovie.com, Cox was asked if Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again was indeed the final one.
“No,” Cox said. “I do not think so.”
While it remains to be seen what Marvel’s plans are for Daredevil: Born Again, everything points to an extended run.
Hopefully, we will learn more soon.
