MarvelBlog News for October 19th, 2025
The 2025 New York Comic Con is in the books, and it was a big win for Marvel.
After skipping this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige and co. weren’t messing around.

We’ve (finally!!!) got several big stories to discuss in the latest edition of MarvelBlog News.
The Daredevil News

Marvel just informed us of some surprising details regarding Daredevil: Born Again season two.
For starters, Foggy will appear, which is…confusing. As you should remember, he is dead dead super-dead.

Bullseye shot him at the request of Vanessa Fisk, which is an important plot point in the first season.
Since season two will likely explore some of that same territory in greater detail, his return makes sense.

Presumably, Foggy will appear in one or more flashback scenes, establishing Bullseye’s and Vanessa’s relationship.
There exists a possibility that this character interacts with some of the returning Defenders as well.

Speaking of which, Jessica Jones will return to the MCU in Daredevil: Born Again season two.
We already knew that one, but actress Krysten Ritter showed up at New York Comic Con.

Let’s just say that she blew the roof off the place, with fans screaming at the top of their lungs.
Emboldened by the reaction and feeling an understandable natural high, Ritter…did the unthinkable.

Marvel debuted a new trailer for the second season during the panel. It was intended to be private.
Ritter put the whole thing on blast by showing it on an Instagram Reel. It’s gone now since that’s how Reels work.

Still, for 24 gleeful hours, fans could watch the clip, which raised jokes about Jessica Jones getting killed off.
Marvel is notoriously tight-lipped about its projects and frowns on anyone but Tom Holland spilling the beans.

Given how popular Ritter clearly is as Jessica Jones, I’m guessing they let this one slide, though.
Marvel also revealed the release date of season two. It’ll arrive on March 4th, 2026.

That’s one year and two days after the season premiere of the first season, which is a bit fast for Disney+ these days.
Marvel is striking while the iron’s hot.
The Vision Quest News

I rarely get excited when discussing entertainment news. I’ve been doing this for too long and am rather jaded.
So, when I say that the Vision Quest news delights me, you know that it’s a big deal.

Let’s start with the most tantalizing tidbit. Marvel is describing this story as the end of a trilogy.
That statement may confuse you for a moment, but it’s accurate, presuming you understand the timeline.

According to Marvel, WandaVision represents the beginning of this trilogy. Can you guess what’s next?
Yup, it’s Agatha All Along, which WILL play into the storyline of Vision Quest.

Source: Marvel Studios
We’re still not clear as to how, but we just learned that Vision Quest takes place a year after Agatha All Along.
That means Wanda and Billy will have had some time to train together, presumably making him more powerful.
Similarly, Vision will have spent significant time learning about himself since this is the blank synth.
Remember the key moment in WandaVision where one Vision provided the other with his memories?
Yeah, that will play a part in this story as well, as the new Vision decides who he is.
The story also promises to lean hard into the premise of AI run amok by casting…well, everybody.

If you can name a robot from the MCU to date, odds are good that they’ll appear on Vision Quest.
I’m not saying it’s 100 percent for everyone, but it may very well be. Even DUM-E will reportedly appear.

Along those lines, James D’Arcy, best known as Jarvis, will co-star in Vision Quest.
Early word suggests that he’ll be a human version of Jarvis, but I expect him to portray both roles.

No, not that JARVIS! Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Jarvis (James D’Arcy). Photo: Amazon
Marvel is clearly going all out here to create a timely story about humanity’s struggles with artificial intelligence.
Everything Else

While fans were most enthusiastic about the return of Jessica Jones, Marvel revealed some other stuff.
For starters, Wonder Man is officially confirmed to start on January 26th, 2026.

As soon as Wonder Man ends, Disney+ will launch Daredevil: Born Again season two.
So, for a glorious time, we’ll be back to the glory days on Disney+, with Marvel episodes airing weekly.

Speaking of Wonder Man, Joe Pantoliano has joined the cast, which means he was always there, but we just found out about it.
This sort of thing happens a lot due to the secretive nature of Marvel productions.

Speaking of which, Mia Goth performed an interview wherein she reassured fans she’s still in Blade.
According to the actress, “It’s for the best that it’s taken the time that it has. They want to do it right.”

Read into that what you will, but I continue to hear rumors that a Midnight Sons/Suns project is in the works.
On a different Marvel note, X-Men ’97 is apparently here for the long haul, probably through season five.

Brad Winderbaum states: “There is definitely, more than possibly, more to come from X-Men ‘97. We’re talking about Seasons 4 & 5 now.”
Also, reports suggest that Magneto and Rogue, who are currently trapped in the past, are about to hook up.
We’ll find out how true their romance is when the show returns during the summer of 2026.
Finally, just because it’s weird, there’s this. I presume James Gunn was dreaming here, but it’s interesting.
