DEADPOOL: BLACK, WHITE, & BLOOD Incoming!
In an announcement made at the Deadpool Nerdy Thirty event, which brought together a lineup of Deadpool creators to celebrate Wade Wilson’s thirtieth anniversary, Marvel Comics unveiled the forthcoming miniseries Deadpool: Black, White, & Blood, coming in August 2021.
Deadpool: Black, White, & Blood
The brand-new series will celebrate three decades of Deadpool by telling some of the Merc with a Mouth’s most machete-mashing adventures yet! Each of the comics in this series will be depicted in “prestige format,” or black, white, and red – think the original run of The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, Charlie Adlard, Cliff Rathburn, and Rus Wooton – all spatter with plenty of blood!

While there’s no information yet revealed on the specifics of the creative team for Deadpool: Black, White, & Blood, the Marvel Comics announcement promises that the rotating roster of creators will be culled from the publisher’s All-Stars.
Marvel Comics’ Black, White, & Blood
Wade Wilson is the third Marvel Comics character to get the Black, White, and Red treatment.
The first anti-hero to get the treatment was Logan himself in the ongoing miniseries Wolverine: Black, White, & Blood by Gerry Duggan, Adam Kubert, Frank Martin, Matthew Rosenberg, Joshua Cassara, Guru-eFX, and Declan Shalvey. Like Wade, Logan hails from Canada and has ties to the Weapon X program, so this comic would be an appropriate way to spend your time between now and August, if you’re especially impatient for Deadpool’s entry.

Plus, you’re in luck, you can already read the first issue of Wolverine: Black, White, & Blood on Marvel Unlimited!
It’s ALL OUT CARNAGE
And soon, you’ll also be able to check out Carnage: Black, White, & Blood, featuring another all-star creative team from Marvel Comics including Donny Cates, Ken Lashley, Sara Pichelli, and more! Carnage is one of the most savage villains in Marvel Comics, having been formed when a piece of the Venom symbiote found a host in Cletus Kasady, an incarcerated serial killer.

You can bet that the Carnage miniseries will have plenty of those promised blood-spatters!
Also, I don’t know about you, but at Marvel Blog, we’ve been itching for the return of a Hannibal Lector-caged Cletus Kasady, played by Woody Harrelson, since that post-credits scene in 2018’s Venom, and maybe this will give fans a clue of what to expect for his forthcoming return in Venom 2!
