The Wonderful World of the Disneyland Resort has some amazing news for webheads, revengers, and super heroes park-wide: Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California is set to open on June 4th, 2021! Get those webslingers and spider-bots ready!
Avengers Campus Opening Day!
Today, April 8th, 2021, the Disneyland Resort announced the opening of Avengers Campus, an entirely new land dedicated to training the inner super hero in all of us. The initial announcement happened on the Disneyland Resort Twitter account as well as on the Disney Parks Blog and Marvel Entertainment website, and it gave fans a first look inside Avengers Campus!

In this fully immersive land, it will be like hanging out with your favorite super heroes (even those who were snapped) in-between teaming up to fight alongside them in battle.
The land consists of several locations hosted by different Avengers so that they can share their unique powers with guests, including areas designed by some of Marvel Blog’s favorite heroes: Hank Pym, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange!
Worldwide Engineering Brigade
The first key area in the land is the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – or WEB – which will house the new attraction, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, which invites guests to put their webslinging skills to the test alongside the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Marvel Blog previously shared that Tom Holland is voicing Peter Parker in the new family friendly attraction, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Pym Test Kitchen
Avengers Campus will also feature new dining spots for guests, including Pym Test Kitchen and Pym Tasting Lab, for when it’s time to take a break from training.
At Pym Test Kitchen, the chefs combine science and cooking to make to just about anything, using Pym particles to grow and shrink all the food on the menu!
Plus, guests will be able to get shawarma after fighting alongside Spider-Man or the Guardians of the Galaxy at one of the Avengers favorite food joints, Shawarma Palace.
Ancient Sanctum, Hidden for Centuries
Guests will also have a chance to train with Doctor Strange at the Ancient Sanctum for “a once-in-infinite-lifetimes chance to learn the secrets of the mystic arts.”
The Disneyland Resort and Marvel promise answers as to why Doctor Strange is outside of Los Angeles, California, but for now, this is what we know:
In the late 1940s, a Stark Industries complex was built on the location. Decades later, Tony Stark invited Doctor Strange to the Avengers Campus to enlighten recruits about the mystic arts. Doctor Strange suspended the area’s cloaking spells and revealed the Sanctum to the world.
Are you excited to discover the meaning behind the ancient ruins and learn from Doctor Strange about the amazing Orb of Cagliostro?
At Marvel Blog, we are counting down the days until we can team up with our favorite super heroes at Avengers Campus! Are you?
